We're a small team building something we genuinely believe dogs need and owners deserve.
Spent two decades in automotive design with Jaguar, Hyundai Kia, and Ford, working on systems that turn complex engineering inputs into information people can understand and trust. When his dog Stevie had a health scare, he kept coming up against the same problem: there was no objective record of how she'd been moving. No baseline. Nothing to compare. That question became the starting point for Hound Forward.

Founder & CEO
Has built his career around watching dogs move. In clinical practice he often sees gait changes weeks before they become a diagnosis: subtle shifts in weight, small asymmetries in stride, early compensations that most owners wouldn't recognise. His clinical judgement underpins everything Hound Forward measures.
Dr. Ricky Jhauj
(DPT) Physiotherapist/Canine Rehab & Co-Founder
Develops the systems and platforms that support Hound Forward's products and research, with a focus on practical AI and automation. He oversees the technical foundation behind the platform, helping ensure that its different tools and services work smoothly together. He is currently completing a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Melbourne.
Grant Li
Technical Co-Founder
Leads machine learning and computer vision at Hound Forward. His expertise covers deep learning, research and development, data engineering, model training, and fine-tuning. He oversees how movement is measured and analysed, and how those measurements are used to produce the results shown to dog owners. He is currently completing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Melbourne.
